Services · Digital marketing: Advertising once organic traffic has hit its ceiling
We build the SEO groundwork first. Advertising comes in when the site ranks for its main queries and organic traffic has nowhere left to grow.
SEO first, budget second
Advertising on a weak site pays for visitors who leave. So we fix the site and its visibility in Google first, then measure how far that takes you.
- The SEO groundwork: technical, structure and content
- Checking which queries organic traffic has maxed out on
- Tracking for enquiries, calls and purchases
- A baseline: what the site brings in without advertising
Google Ads by intent
Advertising covers what organic results cannot reach: the paid slots above them and seasonal peaks. You do not pay for queries where you already rank for free.
- Campaigns on queries with buying intent
- Negative keywords so you stop paying for irrelevant searches
- No ads on queries where you already rank first organically
- A landing page that continues the promise the ad made
Meta - for demand that does not exist yet
Nobody on social is looking for you. So the ad has to earn attention first rather than ask for a purchase immediately.
- Audiences by behaviour and by similarity to current customers
- Different messages for cold and warm audiences
- Re-reaching people who got to the enquiry and did not send it
- Refreshing worn-out creative before performance drops
Reporting that says where we are losing
Every month you see what was spent, what it returned and what we are stopping - including when the answer is "this is not working".
- Spend, enquiries and cost per enquiry by channel
- Which campaigns are scaling and which we are switching off
- What was tested during the month and what it showed
- A budget recommendation for the month ahead
Who this is for
Advertising makes sense once the groundwork is done: the site ranks and someone is there to answer the phone.
- Sites that already rank in Google and want the next step of growth
- Companies spending on ads without knowing what it returns
- Seasonal businesses that must push in the right month
- Online stores where spend is growing faster than sales
Frequently asked questions
Why SEO first and advertising second?
Organic traffic does not stop when the budget does. Advertising on a site that does not rank yet buys visits that SEO could bring for free. So we exhaust organic first and use advertising for what it cannot reach.
What budget makes this worthwhile?
It depends on your sector and your cost per click. Too small a budget never gathers enough data to optimise - we say upfront whether the figure you have in mind buys a meaningful test or simply scatters.
Is management included in the budget?
No. The ad budget goes straight to Google or Meta - we do not touch it. Our work is billed separately so you can see exactly how much goes to advertising and how much to management.
How soon are there results?
Search advertising can bring the first enquiries within days. The first two or three weeks are data-gathering, though - cost per enquiry is at its highest then, and that is normal rather than failure.
Do you manage social media profiles?
No, we concentrate on paid advertising. Daily posting and community management need a different rhythm and team - if that is what you need we will say so plainly rather than take it on half-heartedly.
