About the Project

APDB (Association of Professional Property Managers in Bulgaria) is the industry body for professional building managers. We built their public website presenting the association, its members, statutes, and the legal framework for the profession - including required documents under the Bulgarian Condominium Management Act (ZUES) and the procedure for registration with the Ministry of Regional Development (MRRB).

The brief

A trade association has an unusual job for a website: it has to be credible to two audiences at once. Property managers evaluating membership want to know what they get and what it costs. Building owners arriving from a search about their own condominium want to know whether the person managing their building is legitimate - and what the law actually requires.

A single marketing page cannot serve both. The site is built around that split.

Regulatory content as the core

Bulgarian condominium management is governed by ZUES, and professional managers must be entered in the register kept by the Ministry of Regional Development (MRRB). Most of what is written online about that procedure is either outdated or wrong, which is precisely why the association is the right publisher for it.

The site therefore treats the legal material as primary content rather than as a downloads folder: the Art. 47b declaration, the registration procedure, the statutes, the founding protocol and general-assembly minutes are each presented with enough context to be usable by someone encountering them for the first time. That material is also what brings in search traffic from owners who did not know the association existed.

Membership flow

"Become a member" is handled end to end on the site - application, document submission and payment through WooCommerce - rather than as an email address to write to. For a volunteer-run association this matters more than it sounds: every step that requires a human to chase paperwork is a step where applications quietly die.

Performance and operations

WordPress with Elementor was the right call for a client who needs to publish regulatory updates without calling us. The trade-off is weight, so the build leans on LiteSpeed cache with CDN and Cloudflare in front - the pages that matter are served from cache, and the editing experience the association actually uses stays untouched.
